With every ying, there is a yang.

Last week, Midge had us on a natural high with all her talk of Valentine’s.

Now, as fate would have it, she’s been sent a ‘Dear John’ letter. It’s full of compliments and fancy words, but we all know how those letters end.

With the hope of encouraging others to appreciate what they have before it’s gone, Midge has placed the letter in the shop window for all to see. But don’t worry about Midge, she’s pretty resilent when it comes to heartbreaks, she’ll be okay, just pass her another box of chocolates.

‘One piece of jewelry can make or break an outfit.’

We don’t know who actually said that, we think it was the sales clerk at the boutique… or maybe it was Frank from the warehouse.

Either way, it’s good sense.

The shop has plenty of vintage and new pieces to choose from. Find a chain and add your own pendant. Snatch up a few strands of pearls and double them up for a sorta ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ look.

And nothing shows it more than our Back Porch. It’s a collection of new, slightly-used and used-but-still-has-life items.  Pottery, vases, silk plants, ceramics, gardening tools and more.

Add just a bit of creativity and wha-la! you are now green!

Midge is a passionate person.  And as we have mentioned before, she has a bit of a romantic streak.  One could say she sees life through rose-colored glasses (sometimes literally).  She recites Shakespeare daily, sighs every time ‘love at first sight’ is mentioned and looks fabulous in red.

With that said, you can understand why she was the first to bring out the Valentine’s Day inventory!

Heart-shaped candles, pillows, cute and cuddly stuffed animals and of course, all pink and red items to get you ready for a day filled with Amore!
